Lisa Seabre

Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience in the field. For most of that time she worked with children, age 0-18 who were in the foster care system, and also with at-risk teens.  Lisa now works with adolescents, teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, grief, and work/school stressors. Lisa also works with adults who are looking to find more joy, value and meaning in their lives.

The most common therapeutic approaches Lisa uses are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).  Lisa also incorporates somatic exercises into sessions to help relax the body.

Lisa is warm, welcoming and empathetic. She has a professional but relaxed style that often helps even the most resistant clients feel comfortable during sessions.  On a personal note, Lisa spends her free time with her son, her many animals, gardening and outside in nature.
