Jessica Lafontaine
Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for working with children 4-18 years of age. Jessica excels at building rapport with her clients, which helps to make therapy a place in which clients can talk about their feelings and experiences. She is passionate about helping her clients build healthy boundaries, coping skills and self-esteem. She specializes in children and teens struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, behavioral issues and more.
Jessica enjoys working with even the most reserved clients through compassion, understanding, creativity and persistence. She works with caregivers and family members to assist in problem solving concerning behaviors and providing connection to additional community resources when needed.
Jessica graduated in 2015 with a Masters in Social Work from Florida State University. She has been a social worker in Brevard County for over 7 years. Throughout her career as a social worker, Jessica has worked with a wide range of individuals and families throughout the community. She has experience working in the foster care system, working with families/children with developmental concerns, as well as families/individuals in crisis.
Jessica enjoys traveling, hiking, baking and gardening with her husband and three dogs.
