Melissa Fletcher is a Registered Mental Health Intern. She believes the key to successful treatment is creating a safe, non-judgmental space that enhances a shared curiosity and connection. Melissa will work with you to identify thoughts and behaviors that may be limiting your potential to lead your most fulfilling and meaningful life. She is committed to understanding how you experience yourself and the world around you and will strive to cultivate an environment in which she will work collaboratively with you to achieve lasting change.
Melissa believes therapy should be a safe place where you can open up and speak freely and honestly. If you feel that your daily life is a struggle, Melissa will work with you to help you understand your difficulty. She enjoys helping clients discover new ways of coping and understanding to alleviate distress so that they can begin to live the most rewarding life possible.
Melissa graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She has worked with adults and adolescents helping them overcome trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health diagnoses.
Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and cooking. Melissa values and utilizes the therapeutic relationship. She looks forward to helping others feel more grounded and present in their life.
