Edith is a kind-hearted Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in children ages 4-18, family counseling, parenting support, and young adults. Edith is a natural relationship builder, often utilizing her casual and approachable style to help children, individuals, and families navigate their therapy experience. She is passionate about helping her clients navigate life changes, build greater self awareness and emotional intelligence, and gain new coping skills. Her treatment specialities include ADHD, anxiety, depression, life changes, grief, and behavioral issues.
Edith’s approach to therapy is client centered, integrative and eclectic, meaning she uses a wide variety of interventions and modalities to address your needs. Some of these include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-education, Solution Focused, Play and Art therapy techniques, and Bibliotherapy. Edith enjoys partnering with families and clients to creatively problem solve and accomplish goals.
Edith graduated in 2015 with a Masters in Social Work from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). She has worked in a wide variety of settings including community mental health agencies for children, teens, and adults, higher education, and case management.
Edith enjoys being outdoors, drinking coffee, cooking, watching stand-up comedy, and exercising. Edith welcomes clients of all races, cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds.
