Breanne Thomas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has specialized in working with people who have experienced trauma, especially children and teens. She uses a variety of psychotherapy approaches to help her clients find their own strengths, empowering them to make lasting changes and cope with the challenges and stressors they face in their lives.
After graduating with her Master’s of Social Work from Baylor University, she has worked in a variety of settings with various populations. Breanne has spent time working in the foster-care system, the school setting, and has provided therapy in both community and office based settings. She has worked with youth who have behavioral challenges, children who have autism, as well as individuals and families who have faced many barriers and stressors that make sustainable change more difficult to achieve. She has also worked with children, adolescents and adults to help them overcome a variety of challenges, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health diagnoses. Breanne always strives to create partnerships with parents, grandparents, teachers and other supportive individuals to help build support systems for her clients as they work to achieve lasting changes.
Breanne loves spending her free time with her family and friends. She also enjoys exercising, reading, baking, traveling, and playing with her dog. Breanne genuinely enjoys working with others and looks forward to working with you.
